Jacob McIntyre was born and raised in Cave Creek, Arizona. He moved to Flagstaff in 2013 and instantly fell in love with the area and people. He started his fire service career on Bear Jaw, which is 20 person wildland hand crew supported by Highlands Fire District and Pinewood Fire. He quickly developed a passion for the fire service, the culture and the people within it. Jacob graduated from Coconino Community College with an associates degree in fire science. He now live in the community he proudly serves, as a structural firefighter, with his wife and growing family. Pursuing this career takes hard work and dedication but is extremely rewarding, he couldn't be happier about the path he took.
